The pk-info is a freely distributed tool to use with protection keys (PK) only. It displays basic hardware characteristics of detected devices, so can be used for proper installation and functionality testing. It can not be used to do any other tasks - like reading, writing or erasing a key. The goal of making this program was to give the Developers using PKs with their software, an additional tool they could further pass to their clients. This way, many simple issues can be solved faster.
